Kırbıyık Resort Hotel

The staff deserve some credit for their everyday work, but the hotel itself was a total disappointment and doesn’t deserve even one star. Calling it five-star makes no sense when there are leaks in the bathroom from the room above. Meals were repetitive, with the same lunch and dinner dishes day after day. They show attractive sushi and seafood on social media, but the sushi we got was the most disgusting I’ve ever tried. If that had been my first sushi, I doubt I’d try it again. The seafood seemed to be on Instagram stories rather than the menu. Beach and hotel snacks were also the same every day, and there were hardly any choices for someone who only eats chicken. There’s very little to do here beyond the pool and the sea, and the hotel is far from the city. The rooms were nowhere near five-star quality. The staff were the least friendly I’ve ever encountered on any vacation. Not recommended.

During my week there, Tarık Akan was especially helpful and friendly, and the service was very good throughout. All the staff were welcoming. It’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The pools and other attractions closing at 5pm was a downside, especially since the pools are quite small. The rooms were okay, though, and I’d rate the staff 4.5 stars if I could. I still had a successful vacation. Funny thing, the ice cream opened around 3 or 4pm and half the hotel seemed to be queuing for it.
