Alanya Beach Hotel

We’re in room 202 now, and this is a very bad hotel. There’s no trash bin in the room, and when we asked for tissues, they told us to buy some outside. The Wi-Fi only works in the lobby. To get it in the room, they charge for the full seven-day stay at 2 euros a day, even if you only need it for one day. We booked a double room with one king bed for my wife and me, but got two single beds and they wouldn’t change them. Staff were rude and didn’t speak to clients properly. We also asked for towels to take to the beach and were told to go, but one don’t reverse with this hotel. Avoid it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m still here in room 105, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked one big bed for us as a couple, but were given two separate beds and told that was all they had. Staff were rude and unhelpful. There’s no bin in the room, and when we asked for tissues they told us to buy them outside. The room was spacious, clean, and cooled very well, and the staff were kind and polite. But my partner and I had to sleep in separate single beds, each with just one pillow, which didn’t make sense to us. There was no kettle or mugs for making tea or coffee. Breakfast runs only from 8:30 to 9:30, an especially awkward window for people on holiday who may get up late. It should begin by 7 and run for a few hours, perhaps until 11. The hotel could do better with a little more attention to the room furnishings and facilities, along with better management.

We found a lot to like for a budget family hotel near the beach. It’s in the second row from the waterfront, so it’s handy while being quieter. Our room was clean and had what we needed, including AC, a safe, a flat TV, and a balcony. There’s a lovely pool and garden for relaxing in the afternoon, and breakfast was included with our Expedia booking. The staff worked hard, spoke English, and were very accommodating, even letting us check in early. We’d happily return in a few weeks and recommend it to friends.
