The information on Agota about this hotel was wrong. It showed one price and then added all kinds of extra fees afterward. That has never happened with my Agota bookings before. I couldn’t work out how to tell them I don’t want to stay at Bektas hill because the cost information was inaccurate. Grimur Karl Einarsson

It feels very chic and resort-like, with fantastic views, a great pool, and beautiful nature around it.

The mountain setting gives you a gorgeous view over the city and sea. There’s parking for several cars, and the place feels comfortable and spacious, but I wouldn’t stay here without a car. There’s a minaret nearby, so the prayers on loudspeaker are hard to miss. I’m an atheist, but I found them delightful and authentic, and they didn’t bother me at all.
