Bella Bravo Suite Hotel

The atmosphere here is so relaxed, and the staff are still the same good people who make a stay feel easy. Housekeeping was great, everyone was friendly, and I felt safe because they put guest safety first. I stayed almost a month this year and have just got home. There’s a washing machine in Coro, which is handy for cleaning your things, so it works well for a longer stay too. The rooms could use a little upgrading, though I know they need more guests to take on major maintenance. They’ve already made some nice changes at the hotel, and it’s even nicer to stay there now. They’ve started more upgrades for next season, including putting a new door in every room. I can’t wait to go back next year.

We were stuck here for 14 days, and it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were filthy, all three that we moved through, and I’ve never seen hygiene this bad. Our first room had a toilet that didn’t work. The owner said it was fine and that we shouldn’t switch, but after complaining again we got another room. Staff couldn’t speak English apart from the owner, whose English was poor and who wasn’t always around. There’s no Wi-Fi outside the lobby, and even there the connection is unstable enough that the router often needs restarting. Sheets and towels had all kinds of stains, including blood. The safe and air conditioning cost extra, with the AC at 5€ per day. When you leave the room, all the electricity shuts off, including the fridge and the air conditioner you paid for. The lobby toilets were awful. There was no water to flush, the doors were broken and wouldn’t close, and the women’s door had a hole in the glass where people could see you naked. The reception was almost always empty, and everyone could access the room and safe keys. The owner even told us to leave our key in the slot ourselves, so there was no security when we left the room. I really can’t recommend staying here.

This has been my Home no. 2 for about 5 years, and I’ve always had the best service from everyone. I can’t relate to the complaints about cleaning. What you pay and what you get feel well matched. I can only say good things about this hotel. Always.
