Hotel Dinlen

The place is in a problematic location, and there’s no hygiene at all. The sink leaks, and apart from having a bed indoors, it feels little different from living on the street. They quote one price by phone and another in person, then lie to your face about it. It seems they set the room rate differently depending on how well they think they can get away with charging you.

The rooms and toilets were filthy. We woke in the night to find loads of insects crawling around in the bed, and the sheets and pillowcases still had the previous guest’s hair on them. The place is completely unhygienic and not worth what you pay. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

The reception seems to make up its own rules. I’d agreed on a price that included a shower and a rug, but after settling in, I was told the rug couldn’t be switched on at that price. They control it at the desk whenever they feel like it. They’ve also opened and are running a hotel down the street.

The rooms aren’t clean, and the AC doesn’t work. The toilet door is fitted through the shower cabin. When I reported the air conditioning, they said they’d fix it tomorrow, as though they were on vacation. They don’t deserve a penny of what you pay.
