Dolphin Hotel

A small, pleasant place, great for families.

I only walked past it, I didn't go inside.

The food is high quality and the menu is great, and the rooms are super too. Whoever's on staff, they're always ready to help. Most guests are Danish, and Gitte, Tinna or Jan can answer questions. We've visited Dolphin before and will be back. Highly recommend it, see you again soon!

The beach bar next door is the better choice for food, with reasonable prices, plus free loungers and parasols on the sandy swimming beach. That's Scandinavia beach no 16, beside the stream carrying meltwater from the mountains. It's nicely cold on a hot day. I'd skip the hotel's beach. It's a Danish hotel with Danish hosts, which could suit someone traveling alone for the first time since you don't feel by yourself. You can book through mixx or dolphine travel. I'd choose dolphine travle because its transfer goes straight to the hotel and saves a little over an hour compared with mixx. For me, the hotel's a bit far from Alanya, though that's personal preference. Cleaning and damp walls hold it back, and the staff didn't seem very service minded, more occupied with their phones. The evenings felt a little dead, and the restaurant food is expensive. It's an okay hotel.
