Grand Bayar Beach Hotel - All Inclusive

The beach is only about 30 meters from the hotel, but the umbrellas and sunbeds there are old and broken. There aren't enough for all the guests, and the sunbeds have no mattresses, so they're uncomfortable to lie on. We used the excellent sunbeds by the hotel and pool instead. The pool in front of the hotel has a bar serving domestic alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, though you're not allowed to take drinks to the beach. The hotel has a high standard of hygiene. Rooms are cleaned daily, with towels and bed sheets changed, and most rooms have sea views. The food is good, and you can always find something to eat even if some dishes aren't to your taste. Employees don't speak English very well, but you can get the information you need in other ways 😉.

The staff were rude and seemed not to care once we'd paid. Don't expect help or much customer service. The hotel was dirty, rooms weren't cleaned, the air conditioning was weak, and there was no WiFi anywhere. Our room had no safe place for belongings, and you could easily get stuck in an elevator. There was no hot water at all, not even warm water, which I needed after swimming in salty water. Every day I had to beg for a little warm water just to shower, without success. By the third day I'd given up and accepted cold showers for the rest of my stay. I only found all the negative reviews after leaving. I don't recommend staying at any of their properties.

The views and location are great, and the price is good. The staff are friendly, and a Turkish bath and massage are included. I'd recommend it for a relaxing holiday. There's plenty to do nearby if you prefer activities.

For the price, this is a very good hotel. The rooms are cleaned, and the food is tasty.
