Can Karaburun

We were first given a room with a broken door. The staff understood when we asked to switch rooms and helped us change, but the replacement room had a broken AC. The towels looked clean, though they smelled stale, almost moldy, as if they’d been put away before they were fully dry.

The old-fashioned atmosphere was amazing, almost like traveling back in time, and the sea view was wonderful. I loved it and will definitely return. The rooms were kept clean, which I know is hard in an old hotel, though the bathroom itself was a bit dated. It was one of my best experiences.

The sound of the waves is unforgettable, and the location is exceptional. There’s a lot of potential here, but the service, furnishings in the common areas, and especially the infrastructure need plenty of improvement. That’s basically it.

Talat Bey was a pleasure to talk with, and his hospitality made us very happy. Hikmet Bey and Zeynep Hanım were attentive as well, and we’d like to thank them all. We chose Can Hotel for a weekend diving trip and were glad we did. The location and views are superb. We hope to return for another diving adventure.
