Heritage by Cimen Hotel

We stayed at Heritage for six nights and would definitely recommend it, whether you're travelling solo or with family. The sea view is breathtaking, and there's a private beach area with drinks and ice cream service. The location is great, with everything within walking distance. Staff across reception, the restaurant, and housekeeping were all friendly and accommodating. The rooms are modern and very clean. At check-in, they give you a handout that clearly sets out the schedule and services, including what's free and what costs extra.

We liked being able to walk to the beach in about two minutes, where sunbeds and towels are free, and there are lots of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby. The center of Alanya is around 15-20 minutes away on foot. The hotel is fairly new and recently renovated, with about 50-60 rooms. Our sea view room was comfortable for two and had what we needed, including a small fridge, kettle, and air conditioning. Breakfast had a decent choice, though it wasn't extensive and seemed especially limited for kids. Reception were friendly and helpful. I arranged excursions and a car rental through them without any trouble. The pool is small but perfectly swimmable, and my child had a great time in it. It does close early, at 7 p.m. There were a few minor things like peeling paint and sockets that didn't work. Still, it was very good value, and I'd recommend it if you want affordable accommodation near both the sea and the city center.

We spent two weeks here in July, and the beach was just a minute away across the street, with free sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels. The beach bartender made great cocktails, which was a nice surprise. If you want a sunbed in the front row, though, you'll need to get up early)))) The hotel is small, cozy, and right in central Alanya. Before travelling, we had read some worrying reviews from the previous year. We only learned during the holiday that the hotel had changed ownership at the end of 2024 and been renovated. Our room had a sea view and good air conditioning. It was cleaned daily, towels were replaced, and there was plenty of shower gel and shampoo. We had read that water might cost extra, but two bottles were left in our room each day for free, and we could get more at the restaurant. It's not an all-inclusive hotel. We initially booked breakfast and dinner, then asked on day four to cancel the dinners because there were so many interesting restaurants nearby and we wanted to try them. The hotel handled the change without any fuss. City noise was probably the main drawback, though that's hard to avoid at a hotel in town. Yulia and Ensar deserve a special thank you for their quick, capable service without ever being pushy. They dealt with our requests promptly and always with a smile.

The location worked well, with a private beach and an à la carte restaurant of their own. The restaurant cost a little more than usual, but we ate there several times and enjoyed it. There's a taxi call button just outside, and ATMs are nearby. A taxi to somewhere like Teleferik was about 4 € / 200 TYR. We stayed for a couple of weeks in August. The service was first class, understanding, and flexible. Our room for two was small, especially with our large luggage, but it was adequate since we weren't planning to spend all day in it. Housekeeping did a very good job. We used the laundry service a couple of times and it was generally good, although some items went missing before luckily turning up again. There was noise from the diner next door late at night, which could be a problem if you go to bed early. The doors also seemed quite noisy, and I hope the owner will deal with that soon. Breakfast was adequate and changed a little each day. It would be helpful to have descriptions of the food and its allergens.
