Kleopatra Gondola Hotel

We went recently as a family, and it’s a good value option that works for children. The room was adequate, but during our 4 days the sheets and towels weren’t changed. Meals and breakfast were filling and enough. The animation and service staff were experienced and friendly. There are quite a few foreign staff, and teaching them a few Turkish words would make the place even better.

We’d stayed in 5-star hotels four times before, so we were unsure about trying a 4-star place, but we were really pleased. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and dishes suited to Turkish tastes. The negative food reviews we’d read didn’t match what we experienced. Özer from animation and Ömer the waiter were especially attentive, and they’re part of why we might choose this hotel again.

The food was tasty, though you can get good food anywhere. We spent 10 days at Cleopatra Beach because the hotel beach was far away and the sea there was dirty. There’s no grounds or place to walk, and towels cost extra. It’s rated at 3 stars. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel or the area, it felt like a waste of money.

Between August 21, 2019, and August 26, 2019, my family and I spent five nights and six days at Mermaid Hotel. We’re grateful to the owners, Mr. Ali and his daughter, Ms. Seda, and to all the staff for a holiday we won’t forget. From the owner and bellboy to the chef and entertainers, everyone was genuinely friendly and committed to making guests happy. The care they took with cleanliness, food, and drinks made for a peaceful, enjoyable stay. Some things are better experienced than described, and anyone looking for a calm holiday should try it.
