Kleopatra Hermes Hotel

Great.

The sea is close, about a five-minute walk, but everything else about this guesthouse was terrible. I checked out on July 11, 2020 after five days, and was very dissatisfied with the apartment and service. The sheets were dirty and torn, and when I asked the owner, Nevzat, for one, he was rude and harsh and refused. We slept without sheets for two days. The room had bugs, the doors wouldn’t lock, and the staff were indifferent. It took me half an hour to get the bathroom water running, and even then it was very weak. The kitchen looked like a ruin, and the refrigerator was so noisy it sounded like a water pump. I had no issue with the air conditioning, which I left on for all five days, and the room became freezing. The elevator looked like it was from the 1970s and had no safety features. The phone line was very uncomfortable, with wires digging into people’s backs. I don’t know if you understand what I mean. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Have a good holiday!

The pool is large and very clean, and the hotel is close to the sea. I went with my boyfriend, but families could also stay comfortably here. The staff were friendly and hardworking, and our room was spacious, tidy, and very clean. We expected to end up in a really bad hotel in Alanya for this price, so Sesam Hotel surprised us in the best way. We loved it and felt our money was well spent. I’d definitely stay here again.

The location is amazing, and the pool is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and excellent, but several basic things made our short holiday uncomfortable: the bathroom water didn’t run, none of the doors locked, the balcony light was missing, and the elevator had problems. Cleanliness was a 5 out of 10. The kitchen was short on utensils too, with only two forks and spoons despite being charged for five people. These seem like simple things to fix.
