Kleopatra Life Hotel & SPA

In December, we paid 2300 lira for one night. The weather was still nice and there were fewer people around. I had room 215, with a great sea view and balcony. The hotel and the kitchen and bar were modern, and most things seemed new. The receptionist spoke Russian and gladly showed us the available rooms, which was very convenient. Many nearby hotels were closed, reportedly because Turkish authorities had recently ordered renovations to replace doors with fireproof ones.

The Turkish bath and massage downstairs were a real highlight for me and my partner. It was an amazing experience, and it helped her back trouble. We'd definitely stay again, and we're already in the process of booking a week next year. We stayed all inclusive last week and really enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and happy to help. You're right on the beach, and the town center is a short walk or taxi ride away. There's a good range of food, so everyone should find something to eat.

The pool was lovely, and it was a quiet hotel, which suited us as a couple. There were enough fun activities around that we didn't cut our losses and go home early, but the hotel let us down on a holiday that mattered to us. If you're English, this review may be useful, as we felt the other reviews were all from locals. The food was the worst part. We ate out every day. It was the same each time, including cold chicken nuggets left out for four hours after cooking and served again at dinner. Otherwise there was salad and odd sausages mixed with yoghurt. Since getting home yesterday, we've had vomiting, diarrhoea, and cramps after eating breakfast here before we left. Our air conditioning leaked over the balcony, which was already too small to be useful. We didn't get the honeymoon decoration we'd been promised, probably because we hadn't paid extra. The rooms were nice, but the TV only had three Turkish channels and didn't work properly. The bathroom was dated, with a tiny shower. Drinks didn't taste anything like the proper versions, so after two rounds we gave up. There was no entertainment either.

We've stayed here several times and will certainly return. The food has lots of choice and tastes great, and everything is spotless and well cared for. The hotel is right in the center, close to the main attractions. Staff are so kind and friendly, always ready to help and make us feel at home. We really enjoyed our stays!
