Lila Apart Alanya

We deeply regret staying here. I’ve been in plenty of apartments over the years and never seen one this filthy and disgusting. The bed photo says it has stars, but what kind of stars are those? “Terrible” doesn’t even cover it. I still can’t believe how we ended up here. Don’t waste your money. Think it over 10, 100, even 1,000 times before considering this place. You’d be putting your family through a humiliating experience if you went.

Thankfully, this all happened before we went, so we didn’t end up embarrassed or wasting our money. I don’t know who handles reservations at the number ending in 8983, but I’ve never met anyone so rude and disrespectful. Their phone was busy when my 73-year-old mother called several times, and they tried to scold her for it. They don’t ask questions, and when you ask them something, they answer rudely.

We’d stayed there in earlier years without trouble. In early August 2025, not realizing it was the same place, I tried to book again. They made a reservation for the first date I asked about without confirming it, and I paid a deposit. I later asked to move it by one night, and they approved the change. But when my family of five and I arrived, they said the agency hadn’t updated the date in the system and there were no rooms available, so they couldn’t accommodate us. We were left stranded, as if they were running a 5-star hotel. I’d been told check-in was at 10, but that turned out to be the checkout time. Even after I showed them the messages, they blamed a receptionist’s mistake and said nothing could be done. The women at reception were indifferent and unhelpful, and nobody took responsibility for the carelessness. Someone eventually got in touch to mediate and offered to return our deposit. We accepted and stayed at another guesthouse. The sea is close by, though parts of it are rocky, so water shoes are a good idea.

The food was awful, the beds were dirty, and the rooms are very old. The air conditioners don’t work either. The owner treats customers badly and is rude and disrespectful. I’m never going back.
