The sea is a two-minute walk away, and there are several pools for adults and children, with plenty of equipment for kids. We enjoyed the Turkish food and tried lots of it, and there were plenty of desserts. The rooms are small, though, and the hotel feels more like three stars than five. Beer was awful. Dry red and white wine were acceptable, while spirits like vodka, gin, tequila, and whiskey were available only in the evening. The cocktails served later in the day were only sort of cocktails, but the bartenders were great. At night there was just one receptionist trying to help all the tourists, with very limited English, though they were willing. Daytime reception was fine until you asked for a manager, then you seemed to disappear and couldn’t get anyone to talk to you. I might come back, maybe. We didn’t come to spend our time in the hotel anyway.

I’m here with my family now, and this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The place is old and dirty, the beach is filthy and seems to get no upkeep, and the food is unlabeled with the same desserts every day, so you don’t know what you’re eating. I raised it with the manager and nothing changed. Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, not the rooms. Avoid this place at all costs.

The chefs and waitresses were genuinely helpful, but the reception staff were heartless. When I needed medical help, they told me no hospital would take a patient without medical insurance. The doctor they suggested wanted 80 euro for transport and 200 euro for a check-up. I later found I could call 112 for a government ambulance, which was efficient, and the hospital charged 106$. The hotel is at most two stars, dirty, with average food that repeats every day. Reception was the worst part.

Our rooms were cleaned every day, towels were changed, and bottles of water and drinks were kept in the fridge. There was plenty of food throughout the day, and a beach bar from 12-4.30 serving burgers, chips, pizzas, wraps, spaghetti, and shawarma for anyone who doesn’t prefer Turkish food. Drinks, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available all day too. The pools were clean and there were lots of them, plus free ice creams from 3-4.30. My husband booked this place, and I was nervous after reading the reviews. I wouldn’t let them put you off, everyone has their own opinion, or maybe they’re trying to put the resort down. The downside is that nobody explains much, so you have to figure things out yourself. A tourist guide called and offered to visit, then advertised activities and day trips. Don’t book through him, they charge twice as much. The outside stalls cost a lot less. If something isn’t right, complain and they’ll change it. We had an amazing 10 days with our four kids, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The pool and private beach were the only nice parts for me. The hotel is old and ugly, with abandoned areas, and the photos look like they might be from when it first opened. Food had no labels and didn’t look good, so I had no idea what I was eating. There’s no Wi-Fi included in the rooms, so you have to pay at reception when you arrive. The cleaner was nice, but the rooms were old, the bathroom mouldy and rusty, and the lifts in poor shape. A trip down to the spa costs 100 euros per person, which would be 500 euros for a family. Almost nobody spoke English, so communicating was practically impossible. If you get the chance to stay somewhere else, take it.
