We came to Ozcakil Hotel by chance after our original hotel didn't reopen because of the pandemic. Once we'd settled in, we got used to it and enjoyed our holiday and trips. If you know what to expect beforehand, you may be fine; we had expected a different hotel and different conditions, so it was a surprise. The location is handy, with plenty of shops and cafes nearby, and the SEA close by too. Our balcony had a sink and electric stove for cooking, though there was no kettle. There's no food service, dining room or pool. The TV was useless for us, with no Russian or English channels. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, but hot water was unreliable, even on the second floor. The place is in the center of Alanya and near the beach, but I'd call it two stars at most, despite Tez Tour listing it as three. Cleaning was poor: nobody came on Saturday or Sunday, and we had to take the rubbish out ourselves. They changed the sheets on day five, but never replaced the towels. We'll be asking for replacements tomorrow. Air conditioning cost an extra $5 a day, which was an unpleasant surprise. We saw luggage being disinfected at other hotels while transporting tourists, but that wasn't done here. There was a sanitizer dispenser at the entrance, though none in the rooms.

The location is hard to beat, with the beach just a few minutes away and the city center nearby. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and the price was reasonable. Thanks for the hospitality, I'd recommend it!
