White City Resort Hotel

We had a lovely stay and would gladly return. The hotel was very clean, the service excellent, and the staff consistently friendly and helpful. It’s a comfortable, family-friendly place, especially for families with children. Special thanks to Özgur in the restaurant for being so kind and providing great service. We highly recommend the hotel.

There’s construction going on next to the resort, but it didn’t spoil our holiday. The adult pool was warm and very relaxed, which we especially liked. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and all the staff were great. A special thank you to Seb at the bar, Kadriye, our chambermaid, and the young lady at reception who was always ready with help and information. My sister and I recently stayed at White city resort and had a wonderful time. It was early in the season, but we still had plenty of sunshine. There was a good choice of food and drink, and our room was very comfortable.

We left happy and would come back. The animation team were friendly and brought a fun, positive feel to the hotel. Eren was especially kind, polite and easy to talk to. Even in brief conversations, he was always smiling and made us feel welcome. The hotel grounds were clean, well maintained and nicely designed, and everything looked fresh and cared for. Our stay was comfortable and well organized, with a relaxing atmosphere. The food was fresh and tasty, with a nice range of choices.

The Ministry of Tourism replied: “As in all markets operating under free-market conditions, this situation does not violate the applicable legislation in our country.” After I left, $93 was refunded, and my mother was moved to a different room. My mother, who is almost 80, had a room that was fully prepaid. When I joined her for one night, reception showed me a $233 charge on a calculator without saying the amount aloud or giving me an invoice. I received the invoice by email only after asking for it, and after I had checked out. The hotel applied a “walk-in” charge for an extra guest in a room already reserved and paid for. The final invoice showed $140, then $93 was refunded. The remaining amount matched the invoice, but the document didn’t match my passport, email or phone number, and it wasn’t clear when or for whom it had been issued. The room was on the 7th floor, reached by walking up from the 6th. It hadn’t been prepared for another guest: the bedding and towels had already been used. When I raised this, the hotel said the room had already been used by my mother. They charged the full extra guest amount but didn’t prepare the room. There was no blanket, and my mother asked for one several times without getting it. I asked the managers several times in correspondence who I was speaking with, but never got an answer. The experience left a very strange impression. If booking for an elderly guest, clarify extra charges beforehand, check the invoice carefully and be ready for service issues.
