ZBB Stylish Villa & Bungalows

The advertised 24-hour reception and front desk simply weren't there. This didn't feel like a hotel at all. It's presented as a modern, higher-end villa, but the property manager called it a "camping area." There was also a massive guard dog we had to walk past to reach two of the bungalows. I booked through a third-party site because the property looked lovely and seemed safe and suitable for my senior mother and me. The photos and description turned out to be inaccurate and out of date, though, and we kept running into new problems throughout the stay: Wi-Fi, keys and locks, windows, pest control, and belongings that went missing while we did laundry. In good faith, the host should have offered compensation or a partial refund. We tried to sort things out during the stay, but they weren't fair or reasonable. Afterward, we tried mediation through the booking site. They answered with threats of criminal complaints against us and attempts to extort more money. As soon as we raised these issues, they became rude, hostile, and disrespectful. The place is overpriced for what you get and misrepresented on several fronts. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
