The room and the towels and linens were clean, and the balcony was good. The location was handy for the bus station, groceries, and attractions. But it’s in a slum area, there’s no elevator, and the stairs are so narrow they’re a hazard when carrying luggage. The receptionist wasn’t helpful. There was no kettle or toiletries, and the refrigerator didn’t work. There were no bedside lamps either.

The rooms were clean and everything was very good. It’s only a two-minute walk to the sea. Tolga Bey was helpful in every way, and I was very pleased. I could reach him by phone whenever I wanted, and he also helped with the car. It’s best to call ahead to arrange one.

We stayed in Amasra for two nights, and the room and bathroom were very clean, which we appreciated. The room had air conditioning and a hairdryer. A mini fridge and kettle would have been useful additions. We were on the top floor in a room with a balcony, which suited us, though the room was small. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the sea, unfortunately. There are plenty of markets nearby, and the ATMs right outside the hotel meant we had no trouble with cash. Thank you.
