You can avoid the city center traffic here, since the hotel is at Amasya’s north entrance, right on the main road, with spacious parking just outside the door. It’s especially convenient if you’re traveling in your own car. The tradeoff is that downtown is about a 30-minute walk, or you can take a taxi. The rooms are big and very clean, with comfortable beds and lots of storage space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some don’t speak languages other than Turkish, but we had no real trouble communicating. Breakfast was a typical Turkish spread with plenty of choices, though I did miss having espresso. We also had dinner at the restaurant, where there were plenty of delicious local dishes. All in all, good value for money.

Hakan at reception was always friendly and super helpful, and the owner came by to chat, brought us Turkish coffee and fresh apples, and made us feel personally welcome. That hospitality made our stay at Otelhan in Amasya really special. The hotel was clean and cosy, with everything we needed. The location felt quiet while still being close to the city centre. The room, service, and atmosphere were all perfect. We had a great time and will definitely come back. Highly recommend Otelhan if you’re visiting Amasya.

The restaurant had a variety of dishes that worked perfectly for my family, and the spacious, clean rooms made for a comfortable stay. The hotel was well organized, clean, and had friendly, helpful staff. It’s also close to many attractions in Amasya, and the price felt affordable for what you get. I was very impressed with this 3-star hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay in Amasya.
