Aldino Residence

We've stayed here four times over the past year, which says a lot about how happy we've been. The apartments are spacious, clean, and well placed near busy streets full of cafes and restaurants. Staff and receptionists are always helpful, and the service is consistently good. I do wish every room had a microwave for heating food, and the WiFi signal needs to be stronger. I was told internet is generally poor across Turkey, but the signal here was still very weak.

Management was extremely friendly and quick to respond, and there's a small taxi station right in front, so taxis are available 24x7. This cozy serviced apartment is within walking distance of Tunali eateries and pubs, with pizza and burger places in the adjoining buildings. The kitchenette works for a small family, and the beddings and bath are good quality. There's a school next door, but with the windows closed, which are properly sealed, we could sleep late without hearing anything. Heating and AC both worked properly. The cleaning service was average.

The staff were rude and seemed to have no sense of basic decency, especially the receptionist. There's no valet service, and arriving guests block the road and sidewalks, putting both traffic and pedestrians at risk. One of the worst hotels to choose in Ankara.

We were there for a couple of days, and the hotel itself was fantastic. The location was convenient too. If you're looking for a hotel around Çankaya in Ankara, this could be your next address.
