Alfin Hotel Ankara

The breakfast was okay, though there wasn't much choice. At the bar area, no one ever came over to take my order. In the mornings, cleaning staff sat outside my room watching TikTok videos, which kept disturbing my sleep like an alarm clock. The room had a bad view and was small, with an uncomfortable bed and sheets and hardly any closet space for clothes. The AC blew right at my face and didn't give properly cold air. The bathroom was okay, but I could hear a very loud noise when someone else flushed. The door was also so hard to close when I left. It would help to have music at breakfast, paper towels in the room, and the WiFi password in the rooms so I wouldn't have to ask reception. Softer beds and sheets would be good too.

Right in the heart of Kizilay city center, with the metro 500m away and excellent shopping nearby at very good prices. The hotel itself is good, and all the staff were polite and helpful. I recommend staying here, but skip breakfast, we didn't like it at all and found it very poor.

The staff were the only good part, they were helpful and behaved well. There was no WiFi at all, despite three modems showing, none had a signal. Breakfast was ridiculous, just a plate of samples like a visitor brochure, and it felt like prisoner food. The room was too cold, and they didn't give us the AC remote. The TV only had a few Turkish channels. Worst of all, it was so noisy that with my eyes closed it felt like I was sitting in the middle of the street.

The people working there were so nice, and the place was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the location is good, close to everywhere.
