The reception staff were really helpful, and the rooms felt warm and cozy, just right for a romantic day in Ankara. I liked the sincere, respectful atmosphere at royal ankara. The breakfast could be better, though.

The lift kept getting stuck, and the rooms were small. Service was terrible, and the food wasn't worth it. I'd rather go out and buy something.

It's somewhere between good and bad. The shower mold really needs sorting out.

4/10
That shower was so cramped I could barely move without hitting the wall, and the bathroom smelled bad. The room itself was very small, though I could live with that. During my three-night stay, the minibar didn't work, so we didn't even have cold water. I asked reception to fix it, and they swapped it out three times, taking up our time. Breakfast was taken away while I was still eating, and the person doing it wasn't kind. At checkout, nobody even smiled. I usually don't leave bad reviews, but this stay really called for one.

8/10
The hotel sits right in central Ankara, with attractions, shops, and small restaurants close by. There are also plenty of little places to eat within walking distance. The lobby was tidy and cozy, a nice place to sit or meet someone. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive whenever I needed something. Breakfast stood out, with lots of tasty options. I had a pleasant stay and would give it 4 out of 5. A good choice if you want a central base, comfortable rooms, and easy access to food and sights.
