Breakfast was excellent, and the women helping there were so kind. They even opened breakfast 10 minutes early for us, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly overall, though their English was limited. The location was okay, but the hotel itself is very old and needs renovation. Our room was fine, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes. The departure was a sour note: we were put in a taxi we hadn't ordered and ended up paying a high fare.

The hotel is bigger than I expected, with a nice 2000s feel. I liked the clean, comfortable room, the thick curtains, the comfy bed, and the nice bathroom. Reception is open 24/7, and housekeeping asks whether you want the room cleaned. Great place, I'd recommend it.

The location made getting around Ankara easy, right in the heart of the city and very near public transport. Even so, the atmosphere stayed peaceful and relaxing. After checkout, we had several hours before our travel plans, and the hotel kindly kept our luggage safe while my family and I went out to see a bit more of Ankara. That thoughtful gesture made it easy to enjoy the time without worrying about our things. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with all the comforts we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable after long days out, and the attention to cleanliness throughout made the place feel like home. The staff were always ready to help, from restaurant and attraction suggestions to arranging transportation. We were welcomed warmly from the moment we arrived. Breakfast had lots of choices and fresh local ingredients, and it was delicious. I was really impressed with the whole experience at Asal Hotel. It exceeded my expectations, and I'd highly recommend it for its comfort, service, and location.
