Connect Thermal Hotel

Ms. Fatma helped me find swimming trunks after I realized I'd forgotten to bring mine, and she also explained all the services. The hotel is a nice, relaxing place with massage services, a pretty big swimming pool, and a very relaxing hammam.

We stopped here on our way to Istanbul. The carpet was wet from the air conditioning dripping from the ceiling. After the shower had been running for ten minutes, the water was only lukewarm, not hot, and maintenance never came to look at it. The front desk staff didn't seem proactive or concerned. We walked 75m to the outdoor pool, then were told to go back for a towel. Reception said I had to go down to the base level to get one.

The gardens are great and the sights are stunning. It's around 30-40 minutes from Ankara, but I thought the visit was worth it, and I'd definitely come back. Our room was clean and classy, with comfy beds, and the food was great. The service team don't speak English, which made things a bit difficult, but translation apps solved that. I didn't like that most restaurant drinks cost extra, and the free drinks weren't always available even though we'd paid for breakfast and dinner.

We're really happy here, and the baby had a great time in the ball pit and on the trampoline. The people and service have been amazing, with such attention to detail, cleanliness, and hospitality that I think this deserves five stars. I've stayed at different hotels over the past few months and haven't reviewed any until now. The staff don't understand much English, so Google Translate helps, but they go above and beyond to meet our needs.
