The hotel is in a perfect spot, with no street noise, so it was peaceful to rest. The rooms were clean and had new air conditioning. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and the service was pretty good for the price. They also have a good quality traditional Turkish breakfast.

We were meant to stay a third night, but asked to change hotels. The place was noisy from the main road and wedding functions, and the staff didn't smile or engage with guests. Smoke smell filled the rooms and corridors, and several of our group asked to change rooms more than once. Breakfast was supposed to start at 0700. On the first morning, the cook who makes eggs to order didn't start until 0810, and by 0830 the next morning hadn't shown up.

After traveling from Misurata Libya to Istanbul and then Ankara, I spent eight days in the capital. Manhattan Hotel was the best hotel choice I found, clean and comfortable, and very close to Ankara KIZILAY city center. A great option if you're staying a few days in the Turkish capital.

The buffet breakfast is worth trying. The hotel was very nice and clean, the staff were friendly, and it had all the basics.
