The toilets need attention because they smell bad. Still, management was very cooperative, and they upgraded our room when they saw we had kids and needed extra bedding. The hotel is really nice and the service excellent.

The worst hotel stay I've ever had. I was in Turkey waiting for official travel documents so I could go home, and management knew I didn't speak Turkish and had no one to speak up for me. I have little doubt they tried to take advantage of that. After 11 months there, I tried to check out and was told I owed 8000 Lira because, they said, I'd been paying too little for months. When I refused, they called the police. I showed the officers my bank statements, which confirmed what I'd paid, and fortunately I was able to leave. The cleaners also asked me for 200 Lira to clean my room, while other guests had theirs cleaned for free, so I stopped using the cleaning service. The amount I was charged kept changing without warning, even though we'd agreed on a price. It left me constantly anxious about when they'd suddenly claim I owed more. The cafe and breakfast were below standard compared with other hotels. There's no air conditioning, so summer heat and humidity made sleeping impossible. I'm glad my son wasn't with me, since inappropriate noises could be heard in the mornings and sometimes at night. Staff turnover was very high, with new faces all the time. Service was appalling, especially from the manager, Bhari, who could seem friendly and then suddenly change. Staff seemed poorly trained because they didn't stay long enough to learn the job, and they appeared afraid of management and losing their jobs. Avoid this place, especially if you're not Turkish.

The room and hotel were nice, but watch out if you get a room without windows: there's no fan or air conditioning in those rooms. The receptionist was very nice and gave me a fan.

Our two days here were the worst of our lives. We found bedbugs in the room, and there weren't any utensils, plates, or pots. One room had a big hole in the wall for the air-conditioning pipe, which I'll show in the photos. The power was out for six or seven hours, and there was no generator, so we had nothing during that time. This hotel is terrible. NEVER GO THERE!
