I didn't know Ankara well, so Ms. Arzu at reception was especially helpful and attentive. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the hotel's location was excellent.

I wouldn't choose this place unless there were no other options. The old bathrooms and worn towels, some with holes, don't feel hygienic enough even for a two-star hotel. The building feels dated, and the door uses a punch card key. Rooms are small, with a twin bed that's queen size or smaller and not really enough for two. The TV is tiny, lighting is weak, and the old AC barely cools while its fans are noisy. It doesn't meet three or four star standards.

The walls are thin enough that you hear every sound from the next room. Reception, though, is friendly and helpful, and breakfast was adequate.

The food was okay, but the Wi-Fi was terrible. The AC wouldn't cool the room, and management's ridiculous explanation was that we should open the window while sleeping. The weather here was 27°C at night, while a cave hotel in Cappadocia had air conditioning even at 10°C.

It's close to central Ankara, and the hotel is clean and cosy with a delicious breakfast. The receptionists weren't very kind, though. Whenever I needed my car taken in or out of the hotel garage, I could wait up to five minutes for the guard to come and open it.
