The room was spacious, and the hotel sits in a lively, trendy area full of pubs, cafes, and restaurants. It can get rowdy, especially at weekends. We had issues with both the room and the stay. The toilet's built-in bidet had very weak water flow, and the shower canopy wasn't working. On the first night, guests two rooms away talked and laughed loudly from 04:00 to 05:30, waking me up. I couldn't sleep again until they quieted down. We left before noon the next day, but found the room hadn't been cleaned when we got back. On our last day we were told to check out at 11:00 instead of noon. The amenities could use improvement.

The location is the one positive I can give this hotel. The room was filthy, with things left by the previous guest and floors that hadn't been vacuumed. The wardrobe was falling apart, the air conditioner barely worked, and I couldn't tell when it had last been cleaned. The bathroom leaked at night. I hoped it was the basin, but it might have been the toilet. The wifi didn't work at all. At reception they scolded me for booking a room for two, even though my confirmation clearly showed three people and I showed it to them. The staff were rude when I asked about breakfast, a nearby pharmacy, and again when we checked out after one night. That included the young woman and young men at the desk. During the day, rubbish bags and dirty laundry were left in piles in front of the lift and stairs, obviously a fire hazard. If you want a safe, clean place with decent service and a good night's sleep, don't stay here. We called Seven Deep Hotel across the road, and they were very helpful. They had a room ready for us at 10am, and I'm so grateful to be out of the Swiss Inn!!!

The location was good, and the rooms were clean, but they had a lot of shortcomings. The heating didn't work, so they brought us a small heater that at least warmed the room. Hot water wasn't available consistently, so a shower depended on catching it when it was there. They didn't leave soap, towels, or water in the room. The walls were thin, and we couldn't sleep because of someone's constant talking and laughter from 2am until morning. Staff cleaning was noisy too.

I was in Ankara for a quick trip for a doctor's appointment and stayed one night. The location was very convenient, close to everything I needed, and the room was clean and comfortable for a short visit. The receptionist was helpful when I arrived around 3 PM, and check-in was easy and welcoming. The kettle could have been cleaner, but that small thing didn't affect my pleasant stay. I'd consider coming back because of the location.
