The location is lovely for a quiet getaway, though it’s far from town. The gardens around the place are beautiful, and the pool areas were very clean and fun to use. Staff were friendly, the service was great, and the food was delicious. The people of Antakya are humble, welcoming, and very friendly.

I don’t think this hotel deserves five stars. There were things missing that you’d expect at a five-star place, and I felt they were dishonest with foreign guests. We booked by phone for $500, then on arrival they said we had to pay $600. For dinner, reception and the dining staff quoted us 220 TL, but five minutes later they told my father 275 TL. That left me disappointed.

The rooms are spacious, but the meals weren’t tasty. It’s outside town, with nothing to do nearby, so the location didn’t work for me. I wouldn’t give this hotel five stars.

The food was delicious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I also enjoyed the recreational services, though I wish the fitness center were a little bigger. My stay at Ottoman Palace in Antakya was great, and it was nice to experience Turkish service. Special thanks to Mr. Mustafa at the reception desk for helping with the hotel reservation.

We came for the swimming pool and aquapark, not to stay at the hotel, and had a really enjoyable day there with the kids. In summer there’s a pool for young children, while older kids and adults can use the slides and swimming pool.
