Beyaz Melek

The location is great, just a short walk from the beach and plenty of restaurants, which made getting around easy. Our room was clean but quite dated. The air conditioning wasn't very effective, the water pressure was low, and the mattress was uncomfortable with springs you could feel. We asked for an extra duvet to make it softer, which helped a bit. For the price it was manageable, and a decent budget choice if location matters most, but the comfort could be better.

The room flooded in part during the night when it rained. A window was leaking, and my clothes got soaked. There was also a power outage for a full day, leaving the room cold without heating, though that didn’t seem to be the hotel’s fault. The room was at least clean, but the rest was awful. I was put in a former smoking room and the smell was unbearable. The bed was worn down enough that I could feel the springs, and the Wi-Fi dropped every few minutes, so it was practically useless. There was no fridge, kettle, hair dryer, or even bottled water. Completely unacceptable for a hotel.

The location is excellent, and the rooms are good for what we paid. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The shower room could use a proper bleach clean on the tiles.

The front desk staff were genuinely nice and helpful, and the affordable price felt fair for a decent location near the beach, pubs, and restaurants. We stayed four nights. The room itself was a bit shabby, with a broken toilet seat and a shower that had very low pressure. The rain shower didn’t work at all, and at one point we had no hot water. It was noisy, too. Still, it was okay for the price and I don’t have much to complain about.
