The only thing that worked was the air conditioning. The room window was broken and wouldn't shut, and on my second night I found a huge cockroach in the toilet. The place smelled so strongly of smoke that it was hard to breathe, and all my belongings came away smelling of it too. Dirt was everywhere, from the building and stairs to the elevator and rooms. My room clearly hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time, and there was feces in the toilet when I arrived. The listing presents the room as having a private bathroom, but there wasn't even a sink for brushing my teeth, so I had to use the shared toilet, which was very dirty. I ended up showering at the beach before leaving because the shower in the toilet was basically unusable, it flooded the whole room. Nobody spoke any English. I know this is a pension rather than a hotel, and that the price was low. I've seen similar reviews where the owner says the low price explains it, but basic decency and cleanliness shouldn't depend on the cost. Whoever looks after the place has stopped caring about it or its guests. Everything was old, dirty, broken, and neglected. I'm attaching pictures because people should know what they're paying for. Spend a bit more and find somewhere clean and decent.

The location was the one good thing. Everything else was awful, old, filthy, and smelled bad. The bed was dirty and stinky too. I don't think they wash anything. Disgusting, and I won't be back.

It's right in the heart of the city center, so it could work for a single night on the road. I wouldn't choose it for a longer holiday. The bed had blood on it, the pillows were old and smelled bad, and the bathroom had no sink or even soap. If you're staying with family, be aware that men and women who come for the day and make their living through sex were in the room next door. We had to hear their noises while trying to sleep.

The rooms were full of bedbugs, and you can see them crawling over the smelly sheets in my photos. The whole place was disgusting, with no sign of hygiene. The toilet was filthy and hadn't even been flushed by the previous guest, and the room hadn't been cleaned. We couldn't bear the sheets, so we brought our own, but I couldn't bring the new ones home either and threw them away. You'd be better off sleeping on the beach, or burning your money and throwing it out. There wasn't even a glass of water. No wardrobes in the room, and the air conditioner was noisy. And those people who left high ratings, what were they thinking? It looks obvious to me that the reviews were bought.
