Far Life Hotel

We only stayed one night, but the atmosphere was great and we'd like to come back. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, with dinner costing extra but feeling good value. There was live music, and the menu was quite vegetarian-friendly. The hotel also has a sauna. It's right by the beach, clean, and the staff were lovely. Rooms are small and basic, though that makes sense for the price and location.

My parents stayed for 12 days and came away more than satisfied. They said the buffet was so generous they couldn't try it all, and the pastries were fresh every day. Parry made wonderful cakes, and the waiters were friendly. Live music played in the restaurant each evening. They were welcomed by the hospitable owner, who connected them to Wi-Fi straight away and brought cold drinks. The hotel felt cozy and homelike, and a very friendly Russian-speaking woman cleaned their room. They'd stay again if they return to Antalya.

For the price, it was a genuinely great stay. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was amazing, and the beach is just a three-minute walk away. That short walk can save you hundreds, maybe even thousands, compared with paying for a spot right on the beach. It's a good find for budget travelers who still want to be in an upscale area.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The service was awful, and the food was bland, repetitive, and limited in choice. The pool was small and not very clean, and some mornings there was no hot water, with no explanation. The bathroom was cramped too: the toilet was so close to the shower that your feet were in the shower area when you sat down. Staff at the bar charged us several times more than they should have, and the unpleasant older man working evenings didn't help. They also told us one bottle of water per room was free, then it turned out it wasn't. Zero stars.
