The location has pretty views and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from, though there aren't many beaches nearby. Staff were generally nice despite the language barrier, and the price was good compared with other places in the area. Still, our stay was a very negative experience. The rooms were run-down and dirty. On the first day the fridge didn't work; after we asked three times, they offered us another room, but we had packed everything and were never given it. The shower head wasn't fixed properly, so we had to wedge it in place and hope it wouldn't fall on us. There was no water for our last two days. The shared kitchen only had a gas stove, making it hard to find space to cook, and the gas ran out during our stay, so we couldn't cook for a few days. Noise was the biggest problem: you could hear everything from the halls and other rooms, including music, crying babies, and conversations. People were obnoxiously loud through the nights, and we struggled to sleep at all.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. It's much cheaper than the other options, so I'd recommend it.

I stayed from 26/10/2023 to 01/11/2022. Everything you might need is within 500m, including exchange offices, a hospital, a mall, restaurants, and clubs. It's a calm neighbourhood with friendly service and a very good location for getting around on foot. The rooms could use a bit of a makeover, but they're still in good condition. Great value for the price.
