The host seemed to take the complaints personally and then went to Airbnb to accuse us of making things up, claiming we'd lost the card and refused to pay. We'd already paid for the apartment and weren't trying to get a refund. The first problem was the room. It was dirty, the walls were scratched, and there were food stains on the furniture. It looked nothing like the photos, which seemed to be from a long time ago. When we asked to move, the manager said every other room was booked. At check-in there hadn't even been anyone at reception, so we had to wait, though that turned out to be the least of it. Later, while we were out in the city, the manager asked us to come back to upgrade the unit card. After checkout the host wrote, "I hope you don't leave a review because of the cake on the walls. I mean bad review." We sent pictures of the dirt we'd noticed. He replied, "Well, I can't buy new chairs every time a guest checks in. Do I have to repaint the walls every time someone leaves?" They should at least pay attention to which rooms guests are given and not mislead people with photos taken right after renovation. The host was incredibly touchy about it.

I arrived at 3am for a three night stay booked through Wowotrip, only to find there was no room for me. The hotel blamed Wowotrip, and Wowotrip blamed the hotel. Both handled it terribly and left me stranded in the middle of the night without accommodation. The booking fee was refunded the next day, and that was all they were willing to do. I'm looking into legal action against both. Avoid!

The photos make the place look decent, but it wasn't. On the first night I didn't notice much, then it became clear there was extensive rot in much of the building. There was a strong mold smell throughout the room and hotel, and I felt it could cause mucus and sickness. It was so hard to sleep there that the balcony seemed like a better option for fresh air. The building should be inspected by the city of Antalya or shut until the problem is fixed.

It's a beautiful apartment in a quiet part of Antalia, a good choice if you want peace and to avoid crowds. The tourist area isn't far away, but you'll need to take a taxi or rent a car to get there.
