Lettaşi Bungalov

It feels like a peaceful farm stay, with open landscapes all around, and it’s easy to reach by car compared with many other places in the area. The bungalows are spotless, well cared for, and a perfect break from city life. Breakfast was a 10/10 too. Thanks so much to Mustafa and Özlem for being so kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

Mustafa and Özlem are such generous, attentive hosts. They helped with everything, and after a few days I felt like part of the family. Lettasi Bungalows sit beside a little stream on a working tea farm, in a green mountain village in the Rize/Black Sea area. Rent a car at the airport and you can get there in under 30 minutes. Each A-frame bungalow is beautifully built and airy, with a large living area, handy kitchen, nice bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a roomy sleeping loft with a very comfortable bed. I especially loved the private rear yard for each bungalow, looking out over a huge tea garden dotted with kiwi and hazelnut trees. Breakfast was delicious, with different homemade jams made thanks to Özlem’s excellent cooking. I could move right in! There are plenty of river rafting and zipline outfits nearby, as well as Black Sea beaches. The famed Rize Tea Center, Cay Carsisi, is less than a half-hour drive away. I hope to return one day.

We spent two nights at Lettaşi Bungalov and loved it. It’s only 2 km from the center, with tea farms all around. Mustafa, the owner, is so welcoming and made us feel at home. His son Selim was adorable and helpful, and their cat Balım was playful and clean. Good breakfast and great hospitality, it felt like family. Highly recommend! 🌿

This is a lovely hidden gem in a traditional Turkish semi-rural setting, with sweeping views of the Black Sea in the distance. The accommodation was perfectly prepared and situated, and the hosts, Özlem and Mustafa, are fantastic. They go above and beyond to make your getaway from the daily grind what you expect. Breakfast is to die for! If you want an authentic Turkish experience, stay here. Absolutely wonderful!
