Sante Termal Hotel

After a 4.5 hour drive, we got there full of hope, having booked three days in advance and paid a 3300 TL deposit. The online photos had made it look like a bargain. We checked the place before settling in, but the receptionist’s condescending manner gave us a bad feeling right away. The rooms were dirty, the pool was a long way from them, and the pool and play areas didn’t look like the pictures. When we tried to cancel, we were told we’d lose the deposit. A man there suggested writing a letter with our reasons, in case accounting might return it, but we still didn’t get a refund. The hotel didn’t seem busy either. I saw only around 3-5 people during our time there. This money won’t make me rich, and it won’t make them rich either. I know this is a long review, but I wanted to give future visitors some idea of what to expect.

What a fiasco :) The building and corridors were run-down and dirty, and the room furniture was old and not clean enough. For a thermal hotel, having the thermal water tap removed from the room was already disappointing, but there wasn’t even hot water in the shower. We reported it at reception and nothing changed. From the start, the reception staff seemed unfriendly and inattentive, without even making eye contact. I hope management deals with these problems and makes some improvements.

The pool itself was nice, but the garden pool was closed and there was no outdoor pool. That was one of the few good points. The rooms were awful, the food was terrible, and we were hungry even after staying from 2:30 PM on May 26th, 2026 until 10:13 AM on May 28th, 2026. The place wasn’t worth the money at all. There was no entertainment, no social activity or live music. Half the hotel is gone and the other half is broken, which felt frightening, especially as somewhere children shouldn’t have to see. Seawater gets into the hotel, too. What you hear about it doesn’t match what you find. This was my first and last visit. Don’t trust the photos, and please don’t go, we regretted it.

My family spent only 3-4 hours at the hotel. They arrived to check in on January 1st after I’d booked for them, and were assigned a basement room. They asked to change rooms but had to wait for hours. Once they finally got another room, they were told there was no hot water, despite this being a thermal hotel. They asked for a refund because of these problems. Staff said that day the full amount, deposit included, would be returned within 3 days. But after 9 days of repeated calls, they were told the deposit would not be refunded. I absolutely can’t recommend it.
