Acar Airport Hotel Plus

I chose “pay at the property,” but they added Booking's commission to my bill. That commission has nothing to do with me and is their responsibility. Both single beds in my room had bedbugs. I reported it at reception and they moved me straight away, saying they'd never heard of this happening and it was their first time dealing with it. Later I saw reports about bedbugs in Google Maps reviews. I wish I'd checked them first, because the new room had the same problem. I couldn't sleep all night, and left as soon as morning came, before my stay was over.

Acar Airport Hotel Plus worked well for what we needed, especially its convenient location and good service. It's only a short drive from the airport. Hamzah welcomed us warmly and took time to answer our questions, which we appreciated on our first visit to Türkiye. The room was clean, and the bathroom was comfortable and well maintained.

We ended up here because the taxi drivers insisted this was a better option than the other hotel we wanted. I should have said no. I suspect the taxis are paid by the hotel. The place felt broken and dangerous. The elevator seemed like a guillotine, so we had to use the stairs. Look at the stair photo and decide whether you'd want to climb them in the middle of the night. We were there with my wife and infant, and the staff didn't even know what a crib was. When I asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere, they refused. Two young men had no idea what to do, and called the manager, who was even worse and couldn't understand a word. It was the middle of the night, and they told us every other hotel was booked and we had no choice. I don't know how Turkish officials let this place operate. I disputed the charge on my credit card. Make sure you do the same if you're charged.

Not worth what they charge. The outlets and doors were broken, there wasn't a decent blanket, and the shower had no divider, so water covered the whole bathroom. The receptionist gave me a key to an occupied room. A woman was inside and got scared when I opened the door. It was locked, but the broken door still opened. A really bad hotel.
