Heaven Inn Airport Hotel

The staff are really kind, and breakfast is very good, with plenty of cheese and mostly healthy Turkish options. We’ve stayed three times and would come back to Istanbul and stay here again. It’s handy if you need airport access: there’s ample parking for guests with cars, and a pickup and drop-off service for those without one. One time, though, a cat had got into a large room and the staff didn’t realize until they assigned it to us. There was cat poop on the bed, so they moved us to a smaller room. The bigger room was a shame to lose. In the morning you can hear the mosque prayers over the loudspeaker. That’s common wherever you go.

It was a good place to take a break :) There are a few places to eat dinner nearby, and the airport is close. The staff are kind and try to help, and they speak English and Russian. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes, around the clock, which made getting to the airport safely really convenient.

A clean, tidy little hotel with nicely presented rooms, and staff available 24/7. An Uber from Istanbul airport costs roughly £10-15.

The worst part was the bathroom: its glass door was half broken, and a live wire hung below the mirror and gave me an electric shock. I reported it to reception three times, but nobody took action. The room smelled unpleasant and the materials seemed very poor quality. The window’s top section wasn’t secured properly, so outside noise came through noticeably even when it was shut. There were stains on the towels and on the duvet, which also had no cover.
