If sleeping in an ashtray sounds good to you, this place may suit you. The smoke smell was everywhere, like all of istambul had come in and filled every corner. I’m not a smoker, and it was torture for me. It is very inespensive, but next time I’ll make sure to spend at least twice as much on accommodation.

The staff were great, helping with our suitcases and ordering a taxi. I’d booked a small room and wish the washroom had been better, with a proper shower. Still, since we were out all day, it wasn’t a big deal.

Mr Erhan, his son, and his wife were very supportive while my family and I stayed there. The rooms were very clean, and the price was reasonable. It’s 0 to the black sea, with a clean beach where you could swim.

The photos make the place look much better than it is. The rooms and beds are okay, and the air conditioning is the only reason I gave it a star. The toilet and shower were awful: the loose sink was just standing there, and there wasn’t a mirror anywhere in the room. You have to hold the shower in your hand. 😂 The bathroom door only locked with a key and kept sticking, so I worried I might get trapped in there. The front door had to be pushed open, and the whole doorway and drywall wobbled. 😂😂😂
