Mana Airport Hotel

The rooms were dirty, there was hair on the bed, and the room stank. There was a lot of noise, and the rooms felt haunted. The service was zero, with no amenities. Keep in mind it’s more like an apartment than a hotel. The one good thing is the location: it’s close to the airport, with buses and the metro nearby going directly there. Other than that, nothing was good, and my stay was not pleasant at all.

The worst part was the hotel driver demanding another 25 € in cash at the airport and forcing my father-in-law to pay, even though we had paid for everything in advance. When we complained, the hotel apologized at first, then blamed him for supposedly taking the wrong driver, although the driver had confirmed his name. Their efforts to reimburse us seemed half-hearted, and so far nothing has been paid back. Be careful arranging trips through this hotel. We booked for my father-in-law twice, including the airport shuttle. The first time went fine and the room was decent, though the restaurant food was quite pricey. On the second trip, his room badly needed renovation, the walls were very thin, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work.

The guy at the counter was super nice, but I’d only give this place one star. The rooms are much smaller than they look in the pictures. The bathrooms are tiny, like baby washrooms, and the sink is so small you’d think even a baby couldn’t fit there. That gives you an idea of the bathroom overall.

I booked through a travel agency at the airport, with taxi service both ways, for a long flight transit last month. I had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the front desk staff.
