We handed in the key and left early without staying the night. The room was already a bit musty, with shampoo spilled in the shower and sticky floors, and the window had been left wide open in cold, rainy weather. A staff member asked soon after check-in if everything was okay, so they may have known there were problems. Later, cigarette smoke started filling the room. Even with the window open onto the noisy street, it got too strong, and after trying for hours we couldn’t sleep. Staff called it bad luck and offered perfume spray. We left for a much better, cheaper hotel five minutes away.

Our airport delays meant we couldn’t check in until late, but the owner stayed up until 2am for us. He was very nice. The hotel is close to the airport and in the center of town, and the price was amazing. The rooms were clean and modern. I’d happily stay again.

The second room was a lot better, with a rooftop terrace and it was actually clean. The first one I was given had no windows, the sheets hadn’t been changed and it was flooded. I didn’t try breakfast because I had an early flight, but the reviews are right about the Wi-Fi being extremely poor. For an overnight layover, the location is handy: about a 10-minute walk to the M11, roughly 10 minutes from the airport, and the H6 bus stops one block away. A mixed experience.

The place didn’t feel safe to me, and I won’t stay again. The rooms are full of cigarette smoke, the building construction looks questionable, and the AC doesn’t work at all. There was no soap in the bathroom, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and showering left a smell like the water was pure chlorine. Don’t waste your time or money.

The rooms were hot and musty, and even after the AC ran all night it took that long to cool the room to a comfortable temperature. None of us slept well. The floors were extremely dirty and dusty, and the entrance area was very cramped. You realize as soon as you walk in that this is a one-star place at most. Motels in the US look better. It’s not worth saving a couple of dollars here, just pay a bit more for the night’s rest you need before continuing your travels.
