Loft Park Hotel's

The room was right beside a busy main road, and the noise went on all night. We were on the second floor, but the windows weren’t properly insulated and the room even vibrated. We’d chosen this place for its closeness to the airport, since we were flying to Göreme (Cappadocia) the next day. The area is quite remote, though acceptable for one night. The receptionist greeted us kindly, showed us to the room and recommended a good restaurant for dinner. Then, in the middle of the night, a rat climbed onto our bed and woke us up. We called reception expecting someone to come help, but nobody came, so we had to go downstairs ourselves. A young boy was at the desk. He didn’t speak English, didn’t know what to do, and couldn’t offer a solution or contact a supervisor. We’re still waiting for a reply or apology from the hotel. Since we had to leave at 5 a.m., we tried to request a refund, but they accused us of lying because we didn’t have a photo of the rat. Taking a photo was obviously the last thing on our minds then. We absolutely don’t recommend this place. We’ve travelled all over the world, including countries with limited resources, and have never had an experience like this or such terrible customer service.

There are nice restaurants around the area with very fair prices, and the staff are really friendly. The room was clean. Thank you for everything.

The receptionist was warm and helpful, and was flexible in assisting us with our special needs during the stay. Our room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is only about 10 minutes from Istanbul Airport, and I’m more than satisfied. Thank you so much!

If you aren’t planning to take a taxi or Uber, I’d look for a hotel closer to the metro station. At this hotel, the reception staff were friendly, but when I pointed out the problems, all I got was a quick “sorry,” which didn’t feel helpful. The room wasn’t very clean: the sheets and towels had visible stains, the floor hadn’t been cleaned properly, and there was a lingering cigarette smell. I even saw ash on the headboard. I stayed last night and unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. I’d suggest checking out another nearby hotel, which might offer a better stay.
