Loft Plus Hotel

The room worked really well for our family of five during a one-night wait for a connecting flight. It was clean and roomy, just what we needed. There was a mix-up at check-in and we were asked to pay again. Once we checked our bank statements and went back to reception, the staff member refunded us straight away. A simple, handy and dependable stopover.

We picked this hotel for one night because it was near the airport. The room was fine, but the transfer arrangement left us feeling scammed. We had booked and paid the full price for a private ride to and from the airport, yet they put two other guests in the car with us. When we asked about it, we got what sounded like a silly excuse.

The breakfast was really good, and the rooms match the photos. I’ve stayed at all the hotels around here, and this one is easily my favorite. Get a balcony room if you can, it’s nice to sit out with coffee and a cigarette and look at the view. The rooms are great, and the staff are the best. The smart TV internet didn’t work, but that seems to be the case at every hotel in the area, including the ibis, and it didn’t bother me. Laundry is quick, but it’s cash only. A big thanks to Zeynep and Umut at reception. I needed to leave at 05:00 for my flight, before breakfast started at 07:00, and Zeynep arranged to have breakfast brought to my room at 05:00. Then I got to the airport late through my own fault and had to rebook my flight. I messaged them, and they held my room and extended my booking. Umut even placed a pizza delivery order for me that night. They’re both lovely and really made my stay. I hope to see you again!

We ended up in Istanbul because the airport in Iran had closed, and booked this hotel online for the lowest price we could find. The room surprised us: it was spacious and clean, and the rate was affordable, especially for somewhere so close to the airport. Zeynab was in the lobby and was cheerful and kind. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to Istanbul ❤️.
