We had a good night's sleep at Yotel Istanbul Airside, and the price wasn't bad. The room was cleaner and more spacious than I expected, with a simple, minimal style and everything we needed: bed, shower, toilet, sink, desk, seating area, and TV. Exactly right for us.

The room did the job for a few hours of sleep, but it was only so-so: a hard mattress and noisy air conditioning. The corridors felt big and cold. Check-in had a long queue, which wasn't great when I was in transit and just wanted a short rest. It cost 190€, and cash didn't seem welcome. The receptionist said it was a cashless hotel, though handing over 200€ and not getting the 10€ back apparently wasn't an issue.

The price felt steep, especially for Turkey, but I'd stay here again if I had the same situation. We needed to be at the airport for an early flight, and the hotel let all four of us get some extra sleep in a clean room that suited us. It was easy to find, though the airport itself is huge and the walk was long. Check-in was straightforward, and this was the only place we stayed in the country with working AC, which was a big plus.

The hotel's location inside the airport was convenient, but I still felt the price was far too high for the room and the experience. I paid $1,400 for two nights, or $700 a night, and the quality fell well short of what I expected at that rate. The value simply wasn't there, and I left feeling the stay wasn't worth the money. I hope management reviews the pricing and brings the rooms and services more in line with the cost. I appreciate the response and the offer to review the issue, and can provide more details if needed. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
