The standout was the view across Artivin City. The rest of the stay was frustrating. The hotel is far from the city attractions, so having a car seems necessary. On arrival, the elevator stopped between floors during a power cut, and it took about 10 minutes before they opened the door at the nearest floor. There was no emergency power supply. Supplies in the room were short too, with too little toilet paper, soap, and shampoo. Breakfast was only a few basic items, barely enough to keep you from going hungry. Ham was served on the first morning, but on the second we were told they hadn’t gone to the market, so there was none.

They even let us use the kitchen, and the room was spotless and roomy. We were welcomed with Turkish coffee, then given a room with a better view. For the price, we felt the stay deserved five stars.

The owner and staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and breakfast was good. The building looks new and modern, with nice views, a comfortable bed, and a good shower. The hot water control is on the right. It was quiet and felt safe for an overnight stop, though cleanliness fell short of what I expected. Artvin's center isn't nearby: you need to drive or take two dolmuş.

There’s a market on the apartment building’s ground floor. As for the stay, I thought the price didn’t match what was offered. They use nonlegal receipts and don’t follow tax ethics.

We really liked our stay here. It’s a brand new place set up as hotel apartments rather than a regular hotel, with fantastic views of Atvin and the mountains around it.
