My wife and I stayed for three nights in September. I wouldn't suggest more than one night unless you're just passing through and need a cheap stop before moving on. The room was stuffy with no ventilation unless we opened the window, but we couldn't do that because staff smoke right in front of it. The ground-floor window also looks straight onto the bed, which takes up about 80% of the room. There were no drinking glasses or cups. The shower wasn't working properly and leaked at the joints. The sheet had holes, as did the blankets, and one of the two bath towels was tattered. Staff tried to help, but the office had no information about transport or activities in town. The overall impression was really poor, and friendly staff can't make up for a place that clearly isn't well maintained.

The location is central, but the cleanliness was seriously problematic and the stay was terrible. Ants were crawling on our friend's bed, and the toilets were very dirty. You could go if you can put up with those things.
