The hotel was clean and very nice, and the service was great. He was always attentive and helpful. When my hot air balloon ride was canceled, he went out of his way to help me find another solution. I had a great experience.

Getting around on our cycles was easy, and there was secure storage for them. Our booking had an error that wasn't the hotel's fault, but it meant our room cost more. We had the Cave room. Its bathroom was very basic, and the room smelled a little damp, especially around the single bed. Leaving the door open all day helped a lot. Free tea or hot water was available all day, and we could have our washing done for a fee.

We ended up here because Goreme had no rooms left, and were glad we got to stay with King Solomon and meet some genuine people. The hosts were lovely and accommodating, and breakfast on the terrace was a nice bonus. Avanos turned out to have some good features. It still felt a little touristy, though I think most of the visitors were Turkish.

The host made a real effort to make our visit memorable, sharing useful local tips and being available whenever we needed something. The hotel had a peaceful, welcoming feel, and the location was close to the main attractions while still quiet enough to relax. Our cave room was cozy and beautifully put together, with modern amenities alongside the authentic cave atmosphere. It was such a special place to stay in Cappadocia. I had an incredible time here and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting that experience.
