The one drawback for us was the breakfast setup. It’s in the cafe by the entrance, with a terrace, so the outside door stays open and flies get into the breakfast room. Once, even a cat wandered in. I really hope they address that. The breakfast itself is included and meets expectations. My wife and I were very happy with our stay. We had the Deluxe room with a king size bed, an upgrade with a luxurious room, jacuzzi, and access to the hammam, sauna, steam room, and fitness room. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms are neat, clean, beautifully decorated, and luxurious. Staff were hospitable, helpful, and very customer-friendly. We also enjoyed the spa and wellness area, though the hammam and massage treatment cost extra. The entrance and lobby look beautiful, and from there you pass a nicely decorated pool with a bar on your way to the elevator. Highly recommended.

The patio doors wouldn’t lock, possibly because of the air con sensor, so use the safe provided if that worries you. Parking is on the street in front of the hotel once you find a spot, unless staff are using the spaces. I don’t think they have a car park anymore. I wouldn’t recommend the place if you don’t speak Turkish, since I missed out on a lot of services because of the language barrier. It’s seasonal, so things quiet down in winter. Keep in mind that people around town are trying to make their winter money while you’re out and about. TNR is a small, quiet hotel about a 15-minute walk from the center of Kusadasi, with lovely views along the way. It has three floors, and rooms are all the same apart from single or double beds. They’re beautiful and well cared for. Level 3 has the best views; room 107 has the worst, though it’s still acceptable. The entrance and pool area are lovely and very quiet. I think I saw only three people swim in over a week. The spa downstairs by the elevator is much bigger and more luxurious than its small reception suggests, like a hidden secret. Book treatments in advance. Dewi was delightful. Breakfast is in the charming adjoining cafe, where the staff were great. I can see why it isn’t a restaurant, as the hotel itself must be enough to keep an eye on.

The cappuccino decoration was lovely, thanks to the woman who made it. We felt at home as a family, thanks to the professional, friendly staff, especially Miss Selen and the hotel manager, who were so kind and attentive. The rooms felt new, clean, and carefully furnished, and breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again in the coming years. Thank you, TNR team. ❤️😄💐

Our impression could have been positive if we’d been put in the room we booked from the start, had friendly reception staff, and been offered tea and coffee with breakfast as much as we wanted, as at other boutique hotels. Instead, the coffee at breakfast was paid, which felt disrespectful and was a disgrace for a place calling itself a boutique hotel. We were eventually moved to the room we’d booked, and that room was fine, including the air conditioning and general comfort. The reception staff may have changed and the new ones were friendly. They still refused to refund the unused nights. The check-in was the worst I’ve ever had. Before arriving, I asked if I could pay in EUR by bank card at check-in. The answer said euros were accepted, but it came with no greeting or signature, which already concerned me. We were first given a third-floor room different from the one we’d booked. It smelled strongly of smoke, and the bathroom had a terrible sewage odor. There was an electricity problem, so we agreed to pay in the evening. When the power came back, we were asked to pay right away. Their terminal wouldn’t process euros and didn’t give a receipt. The man at reception didn’t understand English properly and insisted my card was the problem. I suggested he check his card, but he said he didn’t have a euro card and threatened to cancel our reservation. That was an awful thing to say to guests, though frankly it might have been better if he had canceled. I ended up paying in TRY and lost 45€ on the conversion. He was completely untrained in hotel service. We couldn’t sleep for a long time that night because of the smell, and we had headaches. The tap water was yellow, the air conditioner rattled all night, and the bathroom smelled of sewage. There were no sockets beside the bedside tables. My wife was crying, and by morning we just wanted to get out. This doesn’t match what I expect from a boutique hotel, where things should feel cozy and comfortable and the staff should be trained, friendly, attentive, and check that everything is okay.
