Zi̇nci̇rli̇ Han Oteli̇

The room was spotless and nicely looked after, and the heater worked perfectly, which mattered on such a chilly day. We had a tasty breakfast too. It’s a lovely historic hotel in a pleasant spot. Everything was good.

We only came for the restaurant, not an overnight stay. The building is old but renovated nicely, and it was hygienic. Staff were kind and helpful. We’d gone hoping to try local traditional dishes, but a large group had reserved ahead and eaten all of them, so we chose hellim cheese salad, 'çökertme' kebap, 'külbastı' chicken, and chicken with mushrooms and cream instead. It all came to 740 TL. The food was delicious and portions were generous, though the çökertme kebap was a little oily for me. I’ve included a photo of the current prices so you can check the menu.

The cafe outside serves specialty coffee, which was a nice extra. Inside, the rooms were very clean and tidy, and breakfast had plenty of tasty options. The building dates back to 1708 and has been beautifully preserved.

We really liked the building’s history, and the food was excellent. The rooms were clean, though the mattress needed replacing. The toilets are set so low that even if your back is fine now, you might end up with a problem.
