Batik Iskele feels like home, and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. It’s cosy and away from the city crowds, with a wonderful sea for swimming or a shady spot under the trees to read or lie down. Manager Soner is friendly and helpful, and his wife Monica makes excellent food, especially dinner. The staff are friendly too, though don’t expect professional management. It’s a family business.

The beach and sea were lovely, and everyone was so welcoming. Doruk, the owner, was helpful with everything, while Monica in the kitchen made really tasty food. We’ll come back, thank you.

It was quiet, with a lovely beach and clear water that never felt crowded. We enjoyed the local food and the nice staff, and there were plenty of shady spots under the trees to relax during the day.

The hotel and staff seem well-meaning, but the owner is rude and comes across as newly wealthy.
